e-Visa is allowed for a maximum of two visits in a calendar year.
Diplomatic/Official Passport Holders or Laissez-passer travel document holders are not eligible for e-Visa.
Applicants of the eligible countries are requested to apply online minimum 4 days in advance of the date of arrival with a window of 180 days.
The applicant is requested to fill the Visa Application Form accurately and submit the same with the applicable visa fees.
The applicant passport should have at least six months validity from the date of entry in India. Also, the passport should have at least two blank pages for stamping by the Immigration Officer.
Foreign Travellers should have a return ticket while travelling to India, with enough money during the stay.
Business travellers must have their business card or a letter from their company stating purpose of travel.
For Medical Purpose a person is required to have a letter from the Indian hospital on their letter-head about where the treatment is supposed to happen.
Once the visa is granted, the traveller is permitted to enter the Indian territory, however the authority to permit the entry still lies with the Immigration Officer at the entry port to allow or reject based on their security and other protocol.
The delivery time for Sri Lankan and Chinese Passport Holders is a minimum of six business days in case of urgent processing and ten business days in case of regular processing.
Foreign Travellers having Pakistani Passport or Pakistani origin may apply for regular Visa through the Embassy or Consulate.
People endorsed on parent’s/spouse’s passports are not eligible that is each traveller should have their separate passport while travelling.
Approval of visa is on the Immigration Department of India. Your application can be rejected by them and our association is not liable to provide any reason against the rejection of visa. We cannot assure you that all applications will be approved.
The visa fee is non-refundable whether your visa is approved, rejected or delayed and also if your visa is approved but you are unable to travel to India.
Once your visa will process you will receive an email. Passengers need to have a hard copy of the visa while travelling to India which is shown to the Immigration officer at the airport.
